After the review of classy style in old housing stock we invite you to move on to our favourite stylistics – Minimalism. And here we start benefiting from planning a project in “Kandinsky” apartment complex. Despite of the elongated (orbital) zoning of the apartment, we succeeded in locating all zones integrally, in particular a hallway with a big amount of closets and wardrobe, a spacious kitchen studio with considerable kitchen island turning to the dining table, storage room, master bedroom accompanied by the balcony and a sprawling bathroom (a spectacular panoramic view of the sea from there is worth being specially mentioned), dressing room and a spare guest bedroom. It appears that the apartment has everything possible! And even more. Who wouldn’t want to live next to the sea, and especially if there is an unforgettable panoramic view – one of the best you can get in Odessa! We created and implemented a design-project of an apartment in “Kandinsky” apartment complex of the 125 sq.m.flat for a married couple planning to use aforementioned apartment as a summer residence. Precisely for that reason we did our best to capture the spirit of sea breeze and its lightness in the interior! The main task and feature was to create the light and airy interior which allows the owners relax and slow down forgetting jammed up and never sleeping atmosphere of Kiev for a while. For the project we have chosen exceptionally natural materials and got it perfect based on contrasts of the cold and warm: here the warm wood whirls around in a dance with incredibly beautiful marble, invincible concrete and metal team up with warmth of cozy fireplace. Let’s say “yes” to the interior art! During the implementation of Kandinsky project we paid our tribute to Vasiliy Kandinsky – the pioneer of abstraction in art, having chosen to work with biomorphic images. From our perspective, the perfect combination of the lightness of interior and abstract paintings! Abstract art creates “the new world” alongside “the real world”. And the new one has nothing in common with the “reality”. It follows the general laws of “cosmic world” inside. Thus, next to the “world of nature” appears a new “world of art” – it is more than real and certain, concrete. That is why I prefer to call the so-called “abstract art” Concrete art», - V.Kandinsky.
